14 weeks

happy easter, peanut!

*aunt amy took this picture while she, uncle matt, and your grandparents were in town for easter

How far along? 14 weeks
Baby is the size of: lemon (last week i couldn't find a peach for a pic... in georgia! wtf?!)
Total weight gain/loss: finally at my starting weight

Maternity clothes? gap maternity... i love you. i can wear most dresses and kinda push it with unbuttoned pants and some shirts.
 Stretch marks? no
Sleep: waaaaaay too much energy now, can't fall asleep until 1am every night. i'm not going to complain though.
Best moment this week: telling the world i'm pregnant! funniest moment was listening to my parents decide what the baby should call them

Have you told family and friends: yep, the only people left to tell are my little people (students) tomorrow
 Miss Anything? bud light lime
 Movement: nope
Food cravings: tortilla chips and frozen yogurt
Anything making you queasy or sick:  some things/smells that remind me of the dark days of morning sickness (a certain spice hashbrown jay likes to make and fish.)
Have you started to show yet:  yep, little belly that i can't hide or suck in anymore :)
Gender prediction: i don't want to get partial to one way or another when i'm so close to finding out!
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or Moody most of the time: very happy, but i can get annoyed really quickly without being able to hide it... oops

Looking forward to: finding out the gender, mama wants to start shopping!

the big reveal

THE WORD IS OUT!

i am so excited that i was finally able to put this on facebook last week and make it public!  these past two months have been rough, and to finally feel better and share the news to the world has made this week amazing and now has me excited about baby lahara.

i made these by buying cardboard boxes of various sizes from michael's and then i painted the bottoms or the lids with martha stewart acrylic paint.  i was so happy the way these turned out, i'd love to save them or incorporate them into peanut's room.

partying vs pregnancy
